Nelson at KBBQ

I thought it would be nice to post a photo of nelson after learning that he had been accepted to guelph. Nelson is on fire. Waterloo and guelph. Well done nelson. A lot of people seem to be getting early acceptances. Cheryl has also been accepted to waterloo. If only my grade 11 marks weren't so pathetic. Well today was quite a boring. I had a really bad stummy ache during lunch, had to waste so much food, more than usual at least. Period 5 I took a nap because I had to talk to Mr. Lopes after school. It was a very short meeting, of him simply saying meet him in room 254 to write the CCC. I am so afraid to write that contest. I want to write it, but I know it will gang rape me. It is by far the hardest contest I have ever written. What also sucks is I have to pick a topic for data. If anyone has any ideas I'm all ears. Right now I may just go something dealing with sport salaries.

Random Blog

Nothing really special just wanted to blog for a while. On Friday after my Mandarin school, i went to krishna's house to play some magic and some games. After not playing for a long time, Magic is a really good game to play but we'll probably stop in a few weeks. I suprisingly remembered how to play and we somehow played until 2 am ish. On Saturday, we had a little dinner for Andrew at Kelsey's which was ok but not the best. I had the rib and wing combo. The ribs were pretty good but the wings were supposed to be done in "suicide" spiciness but it was really that spicy. After a nice dinner, Jimmy, eddu and i went to conquer a mountain of snow and im proud to say i conquered it first. After eating we went back to krishnas and resumed or playing of games. Sunday was homework day and after a few hours, it was Oscar time. I have to say Chris Rock and Robin Williams made it very enjoyable to watch. Finally today was supposed to be a School Reach game but two dumass schools never arrived so we never even played a game. What a waste of two hours of my life.

On another note, I have also got an acceptance from Guelph and have gotten the package from Waterloo they have been promising. I know a few people who have gotten early accpetances so congrats to you. And for those who havent, dont worry, they're in the mail. Peace in the middle east and the T dot streets.

A party for andrew!

This is billy fung. His name is the best to say. Whenever people address him they go "BILLLY FUNG!".

Yesterday was quite a fun filled night. It started off with people coming over and playing some magic. Then after a few hours we realized we needed to pick a restaurant to go to for andrews birthday. After roughly an hour of thinking we decided on Kelseys. The next problem was getting their. Luckily Kevin drove the bantings and joanna. As for us, we had Ryan Kings and andrew to drive us there. The place wasn't all the bad. A lot of the food looked really tasty. Mine however was not that impressive. I had some shrimp feast thingy. The shrimp tenders were good, but the rest was quite sad. The price was above our regular $10 quota, but its good to try new places. Luckily I shared with joanna so I ended up paying 10 anyways. The only problem when going out for dinner is the bill. When we have so many people its always hard to get everyone to put in a fair amount of tip. After everything was taken care of, we headed back to my house. Some people were playing magic, others played mario tennis. Joanna was sitting at my computer look for a yaoi (gay boy) picture of an anime character she likes. After not finding it she called her brother to send it to her. Then sat and looked at it for a good hour. Very fun indeed.

Flowers

I always love taking photos of flowers. Always very pleasant and calming to look at an arrangement of flowers. These flowers are from the grand opening of King Sushi at woodside. They were quite nice. Its a shame I didn't take more photos though.

The last few days have been quite busy. Thursday I had gone to check out roots and rhythm. It was surprisingly fun. What sucked though was I had to sit at the far back and do some camera stuff. I didn't really mind, but some things were hard to see. A lot of the acts were quite nice. One of the teachers did a super crazy dance. What was also quite fun was watching people try to hit a pinyata (I have no idea how to spell it). Nelson was going pure kendo on it. I swear he sensed where it was. He got some very nice hits on it. Sadly he didn't break it though. Today was also quite a fun day. Nothing much really happened in class. Afterschool I went to check out markville mall with ryan and vanessa. Nothing of great interest there though. Afterwards we came back to my house and people played poker. It was a very intense game. Derek went down to around 60 cents, but came back to over $10. Kevin dang was also owning it up. After playing poker we played magic for a few hours. Then people started having arm wrestling competitions. Then we ended the night with people shocking people with a pen. Overall a very fun day. Also we have come up with a theme for the next Jimmerd Production.

Edword

Another photo of a person not wearing their glasses. Edward isn't wearing contacts, though, he just took his glasses off for some reason. Now today was pretty boring. Me and Adrian went to my house to play some Mario tennis. Safe to say I owned him up. We started making a bet of 1 cent for the first game. Then I kept going double or nothing. After like 10 games we changed the bet to just a quarter for every game. In the end I won a buck. When we got back to school I saw they were handing out grad photos. Sadly I didn't have any id on me so I couldn't pick mine up. Out of all the photos I had seen, Nelson had the craziest photo. He was a true pimp. When we saw that photo we were all blown away! I must get a copy of that photo. Once again I have another day of data and physics homework. God I hate physics!

Cheryl

This photo was taken a long time ago. I really can't remember the last time I saw cheryl without her contact lenses. To think people wouldn't want to wear glasses is crazy. Everyone looks sexier wearing glasses. Its a scientific fact.

Today was quite an interesting day. It started off with me getting back my data quiz. I did fairly well. 4- 4- 4- 4+. A good start to the year. Afterwards in physics I got back my lab, 18/20. Most people did very well so it wasn't that big of a surprise. Lunch was quite the adventure. A new sushi store opened at woodside. I have recently been very interested in sushi. So I ordered 6 pieces of sushi. 2 egg, 2 salmon and 2 shrimp. I haven't eaten much sushi, but I did like the sushi at this place. It is most likely very bad sushi, but for a person like me this is good enough. After lunch I had to write an in class essay for english. I had already planned out what I was going to write, but I found myself writing to the very last minute. During spare I took a nap in the library. I was so afraid someone may come and steal my stuff. After school I met Mr. Lopes and finally signed myself up for the CCC and ecoo contest. Formal tickets start selling wednesday. Be sure to buy your tickets

Tigger

This is yet another macro photo. This is a tigger I had bought from McDonalds. Today's physics test throughly owned me. Didn't even have time to finish all the problems. After school I stayed to check out what the memento for formal is going to be. It will be a very sexy photo album. After picking the memento I sat around and school and just talked to nelson and some people in the SAC room. Jo Su Louis and someone who's name slips my mind, were working on a third poster for formal. The completed one I had seen was very impressive. Tickets start selling wednesday, so go out and buy a ticket. And also check out the slideshow in the forum that day too!

Nelson's Day Out

This Saturday after the Vision Youth Gala, an event held by my leadership program, i went to go eat some wings. there were honey BBQ, honey mustard, BBQ, cajun, creole, snake bite, homicide and H Bomb. As you can guess, H bomb was the spiciest and i ate 3 of them. The first one owned me up quite bad. My eyes started leaking, my nose dripped and my mouth was on fire. After 15 minutes, I ate the second, suprisingly it was ok. Then the 3rd one came and that thoroughly owned me up again. So that was an experience that I'll never forget.

Beautiful fruits

I stole the idea for this photo from my brother. I had seen him post photos like this one. I had taken this photo at a No Frills one day. I like it a lot because the colour is very thick and bright.

The last two days have been quite busy. Yesterday people came over and played poker for quite some time. At one point simon went all in as a bait out and jimmy was forced to fold. However before folding he screamed out, "BUT HOW CAN I FOLD THIS!" It was quite hilarious. I can't remember who was up and who was down at the end of the game though. While they were playing poker I was baking some cookies. I feel this recipe came out much better then the sugar cookies. I will most likely bring some cookies on monday. After poker people went to get dinner, while the rest of us just sat around and watched golden boy. Later on in the night Ryan and I played rock paper scissors. We made a bet to accompany the game. I lost the first game, but won the second game. So now Ryan will go to formal. They had left at around 2:00 am. It was quite a tiring day. What sucked more was the very next day I had to wake up at 9:30 to go to the grand liberty. So after painfully waking up, Ryan picked up jimmy and me and we went to STC. I met up with Joanna in the bus terminal while jimmy and ryan bought some stuff from mind games. I was very depressed at how cold it was. I was going numb after a while. After reaching dufferin station we met up with Cindy's boyfriend who took us to the liberty grand. I took a bunch of photos and then we got kicked out. It turns out you need to book a time and a guide to start wandering around the place. After finishing up at the liberty grand we bussed to eaton centre. Joanna did some intense shopping at Aritzia. She bought 3 articles of clothing, and for the amount she spent, I was very shocked. After eaton centre we went to china town centre and checked out some figurines. They were quite expensive, so we ended up not getting anything. While crossing the street to the bus stop the light had turned yellow, so we all had started to run. However joanna's cellphone had fallen out of her pocket and scattered across the road. I saw it fall, but this is downtown we're talking about. In the suburbs I trust people would stop, downtown people are crazy. So I had continued running. Luckily though, she dropped her phone in the centre so no car could hit it. After heading back to STC we saw cheryl working at Baskin robins. I wanted to get a photo of her but she seemed quite busy. So we all left and headed to my house and sat around and talked. I had told joanna that her pants looked super uncomfortable and she was adamant that were. So she dared me to try them on, and I did. And they were damn uncomfortable. Afterwards she had tried on my pants and said the same thing. It was quite ridiculous. Quite a fun filled weekend. Tomorrow I must do 60 physics questions. Physics is a terrible course. I will be cursing it till the very end!

Vanessa looking very bored

I only have one photo of vanessa where she is smiling, and I'm certain she would kill me if I posted it. Most photos I have of vanessa she has very serious look on her face. This photo she seems very bored. Usually during spare we played MJ and vanessa didn't like the game much so she would usually sit and watch.

Anyways for those who didn't notice yesterday I have changed my layout. My brother made this layout for his friend but gave it to me. Hopefully I can give it some colour, but for now I will leave it as is. Nothing much happened today. During spare Adrian came over and played some mario kart. We were suppose to play some tennis but it turns out I didn't have it. English we had a pretty intresting discussion. Physics was damn boring. Time to study for some data. Hopefully laidla won't rape us on his first quiz.

Alligator

Update

I stole this layout from my brother. Right now its pretty plain, but I may add a bit of colour later. I probably won't be making any drastic changes though.

Yet another macro. This is a toy I got from my kinder surprise. It is quite nice. I use to leave it around my landyard, but then someone broke it so it just sits in my room. Today was quite normal. One of my group members for my english presentation wasn't here so I had to improv what she was suppose to say. I wrote the AMC in the morning and that throughly raped me. Now I must find some good cookie recipes. Cooking is so fun. Especially when your cooking cookies!

Another splendifourous day

I took this photo of nelson a while ago. Can't really remember when. Congrats go to nelson for his early acceptance to waterloo. I learned today that early acceptance is based on grade 11 marks. This shattered all my hope of getting an early acceptance. Nothing really happened today. Couldn't have computer club because Mr. Lopes was no where to be seen. Formal is still moving by. I am in charge of the slideshow about the liberty grand also now. Kyle was in charge of this meeting today and I think he seemed pissed that we were so far behind. We start selling next week I think, so come out and buy tickets!

Valentines Day (Part 2)

Well seeing that Nelly made a post, I suppose I'll make a post as well. Its been a rough 2nd semester for me already because I have 5 courses to work on, including night school. I also have to do Volunteer work on Friday and Saturdays, but not cause I need my hours, but to help out. But I need help to decide what I should do:

1) Stop both days for volunteer.
2) Continue what I'm doing.
3) Stop one of the days for volunteer.

So if you wanna help me just leave a comment. =D Thanks.

Besides school being gay and boring. Today the school was handing out roses and chocolate and I was totally waiting for my rose in the morning!, but I guess nothing came out of it, but I got chocolate though =P. Can't spend time with Elaine today which sucks, but she understands (I think) and so a big table for one! That's about all I can make up.
Happy Valentines day to everyone!

Also check out this break dancer, he's pretty damn crazy. He does push ups with no legs! Just his damn arms!

A Town!

Valentines day

Since my last blog, some good and some bad have happened. The good, is that I've been accepted by Waterloo so that's wicked. So to anybody already accepted, I'll prolly be seeing you there. To anyone that has applied and not gotten a reply yet, good luck cuz i wanna see u all there. The bad stuff aint that bad but kinda pisses me off. Its the march break of this year. I was supposed to go on a small trip that is required for my award program but it is scheduled the week before our march break. so if i go, i miss a week of school and possibly lose some marks, if i dont go then i'll have to find another trip prolly in the summer which i dont really want to do. Another bad thing is that the skool reach team just played today and we got destroyed. two games were ok but the other was utterly horrible. it was against wolburn and we got slaughtered like 34 to 5. after the first round we were down like 10 so i just decided to sit out cuz it was just too much. Although we won 3 straight last week, this week has pretty much cancelled that out and more.
Id like to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day and and peace in the middle east and in the t dot streets.

A great day

I took this photo of michelle before the calculus exam. Michelle is probably the only person I know who never stops smiling. It would be a great accomplishment if I can get a photo of her the split second she isn't smiling.

For valentines day I had decided to make some sugar cookies to give to everyone. After baking them however I quickly realized, sugar cookies don't taste good. Well at least this was the case for the batch I made. I had even made letters to give to particular people. So each person would get the first letter to their name. However since they didn't taste great I decided not to bother giving them to certain people. This may seem rude, but I was doing them a favour. In the end I just gave a bunch of them to the guys. A few people liked it, but I'm almost certain they are just being nice. However my day quickly brightened up when Wilson said he had found my digital camera. Now its back and ready for action. The rest of the day nothing much really happened. Now I must start my mountain of homework.

A very long post indeed

I developed a new roll of film today and decided to post up another macro shot I have taken. This one was of chucky. It came out surprisingly better then my previous attempts. I will most likely post a few more of the next couple of days.

Yesterday was quite an adventure. Joanna and I finally got around to making a checkerboard cake. It was a long and strenuous ordeal. We ran into so many problems. At first we didn't have a pan to bake it in. Kingsley luckily came to the rescue. Afterwards we realized we got the wrong butter. Ryan came to the rescue and drove joanna all the way to food basics to get the right butter. Now that we had everything the cooking started. It turns out I don't have many cooking utensils. We only had 1 measuring cup, which we needed to use around 10 times and we only had one cake pan, we needed three to make it quickly. So the first little bit wasn't too bad. We slowly made the cake. I found it fun making the cake. However Joanna seemed to have lost interest near the end. When we had to put the batter in the piping bags (which we substituted for zip lock bags), it was getting quite tiring. When we had put the first layer of the cake in the oven we were done. After the three layers were complete we had to put the icing on. Joanna struggles at putting icing on. There is a good chunk of our cake that doesn't have icing. However when we cut it and took out the first slice I saw it. I saw the checkerboard. It was a grand sight. Sadly the photos I had taken of it didn't develop because for some reason someone had rewinded my film a little. The punk wasted like 4 or 5 of my shots. When I was looking at my negatives I saw an overlap on some photos. Biggest waste of money! Anyways the cake turned out tasting quite nice. Joanna and I have vowed never to make a cake again. Hopefully next time we will make some cookies.

Today was also quite fun. At lunch we went to the pizza hut buffet. This buffet sucked! They had like no good pizzas out, no chicken wings, no garlic bread! I was very very disappointed. Waste of $10. After the lunch I picked up my film which was also a disappointment because so many exposures were ruined. However when we got back to my house it was pretty fun. We played gamecube for a while. Then ryan came over and brought some weird game. It was this crazy game where 4 people have to push a button when they see this light turn green. The last one to push the button gets shocked. I was winning for a good majority of the time. Nelson did very well though. We eventually started playing chicken with it, to see who could hold it without dropping it. Everyone did it quite easily except pussy jimmy. Jimmy dropped it before the thing even shocked him. After that we picked up cheryl and then a few of the others went out for dinner. When they got back we watched Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. This movie was very good. It was very interesting. I recommend it to anyone.

On a side note, blogger just updated their commenting section. So now you can comment on a blog with your name even if you don't have a blogger account. So I expect people to start commenting!

Kaja in the library

Good old kaja in the library. I have another good photo of him in black and white, but I didn't get the cd for those prints so I can't post that one. Today was pretty dull. We got our textbooks in data. Came home for lunch and ate half a pizza. Sat in the library and talked with Eddu dano jo peter and kings. English I just sat around and talked with felix for a bit. And physics as always was quite a bore. I learned I did my graphs right though so thats good. Now I must finish off my 10 minute english presentation. Also Happy Chinese new year!

JENGA!

This photo was also taken with my lens attachment I think. Not 100% sure though. I took this photo last weekend while a bunch of people were at my house. Jenga is a really fun game when your playing with your friends. I can't remember who lost. I think Ryan lost and also someone else. Today was pretty uneventful. After school I had computer club and did a very short tutorial. I think I will start advertising for the club because its so small right now. After school I saw some near bald white kid and he said hi to me so I was like "yo". After taking a few more steps I saw that it was Siamak. Now for those who don't know Siamak, he had the CRAZIEST hair ever. It was super long. He looks like a completely different person now. Its crazy! Formal went by pretty smoothly. All thats left is to start advertising soon, and pick out a memento. I too must start working on the year end slideshow for formal. So please give me any photo's you want in the slideshow.

Tin Macro

I took this photo over the weekend. It turns out I had been taking a lot of my macro shots at a very slow shutter speed. This photo is no exception, however it did come out reasonably well. I find that the radius of the photo that is in focus when using my lens attachment is considerably smaller. This is only from what I have observed from photo's I have printed though, it may seem larger if I reduce blur caused from camera jerking. I still like this semi macro lens. It works quite well, and is very fun to use. Anyways today was quite dull. Data wasn't anything spectacular. Mr. Laidla seems like quite a good teacher. Spare was damn boring, just sat in the library and did my data homework. English was quite interesting. Mr. Chamot's classes are quite fun. He actually talks and makes you think. This is my first english teacher that does something other then say "Silent reading" for the whole period. Physics was very VERY boring. I feel I won't be able to stay up through it. On a side note, anyone who wants to write Canadian Computer Competition must message me. I need to sign people up tomorrow.

Back to work

I took this photo of courey a long time ago. Not really quite sure when. Well anyways I have been quite busy these last few days. Friday was the first day of semester 2 and it was quite fun. My classes aren't all that bad. My spare seems quite dull though. Hopefully a lot of people will drop some classes like last semester. Anyways after school simon and daniel came to my house. We played some monkey ball and I helped them both in some math. After a while Simon and I went to Boston to celebrate Wilson's birthday, which had passed some time back. Derek, Jimmy, Wilson, Butters, Jo, Andrew, Simon, and I went to boston. We had all pitched in for a gift, and Jo and Butters ended up getting him the super special edition of House of flying daggers. I was almost certain he already had it, but I was wrong. Boston wasn't that great of a restaurant, it was quite expensive. Me and simon split a plate of indonesian fried rice that was $8. It wasn't all that impressive. Afterwards we went back to my house and watched House of flying daggers. Simon Derek Jimmy and I were playing poker in the background though. It was very fun. Yesterday nelson came over and we played some monkey ball for quite some time. He thoroughly trashed me in most games. Later on in the day edward daniel simon raymond philip showed up. At this point we played a bit of games, then watched Mean Machine. I must say that movie was very funny. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice laugh, and enjoys soccer. Today cheryl, jo, jimmy and some other people were suppose to bake a cake, but that phased out sadly. Hopefully next week we can make a nice cake.

Saturday at Krishna's

Today i went to krishna's after lunch and we played super monkey ball for a long time because no one else came. i gotta say i thrashed krishna quite well. after a few hours, ram and some of his friends started watching Russel Peters and i watched as well. he is quite hilarious, on the fine line of being racist and hilarious. after that, deng and kings came and we played some more games. and after that simon, daniel, ray and phil came over and we watched "Mean Machine". I had brought over a few other movies but i thought it would be the best out of them. People thought it started off slow but as the movie went on, it got more interesting. If anyone wants to borrow it, its not a dvd thing nor a vcd thing so u might not be able to watch it.

Tomorrow is the Super Bowl and i have only oone thing to say. EAGLES ALL THE WAY BABY.

A sexy flower

This is one of the photos I with my new semi macro lens. Its quite hard to use this lens. I can't seem to keep my arms locked. Hopefully my next batch of shots will be good. Well I got back my marks today and I'm somewhat angry. Philosophy I end up with a 77. Nothing wrong with that, I knew I couldn't get an 80. What pissed me off the most was algeo. I got an 82. Stupid ass exam, got 72% on the exam, brings my mark down 5%. What is even more aggravating is that some people got their marks bumped up, and not mine. Comp sci was greato though. I got 93% on the isu, and a 90 final. My exam mark was pretty bad, but the isu saved it. All in all not too bad, except for fricken algeo.

Eddu

Eddu

I wasn't planning on posting this photo because I'm sure edward wouldn't have liked it. However I changed my mind once I found out edward hid the photo. After finding the photo today under a box I decided it would be as good a time as any to post this photo. I took this photo around on the day we were playing some game where you had to keep this piece of plastic in the air. I took quite a few photos that day, I have another great one of eddu blowing air. Very funny indeed. Today was quite dull at first. Stayed home for about half the day just watching tv and anime. At around 4:00 I left to go meet my cousins for dinner. It is quite boring bussing downtown. When I had reached bloor and yonge, I didn't know which subway went south, because there was already a train covering the sign. So I just guessed it was the right one and jumped on. Sadly it was the wrong one so I had to get off at the next stop and subway backwards. It wasn't all that bad though, the station looked quite cool. After getting to Eaton Centre I walked to the Henrys outlet to pick up a Macro Filter. When I asked the salesman about it he was like "Don't waste your money on a filter, get this" He pulled out some weird lens and said if I just take out the middle its an instant macro. So eventually he got it off and it was quite impressive. What was even more wicked was it cost $2. I had gone in expecting to pay around $50 but got away spending $2. After buying the filter I walked down Queen st looking for crispy roll. I walked all the way to much music just to see that I had missed the restaurant. The dinner was quite fun. My cousins are quite humorous. The food was okay, not super great. All in all a very great day!
