Flowers outside bubble tea joint

I took this photo of some new bubble tea place that had opened in pacific mall. I don't think the bubble tea was any good, but the flowers looked very nice. I love taking photos of flowers. Hopefully when spring starts I can take more photos of them.

These last two days have been pretty laid back. At work I am pretty much trying hard not to sleep. Today was pretty cool because I was allowed to change a keyboard we were about to throw away into a Dvorak keyboard. A Dvorak keyboard is a normal keyboard but the key layout is different. Its suppose to be better then the QWERTY layout (named after the first 6 letters on a standard typewriter... I think). This layout is suppose to be better for your hands, and also suppose to be a lot faster. If your on windows you can change your keyboard to the Dvorak layout, but it takes quite a bit of effort to get used to. I am still struggling to learn, supposedly if you use it continuously your WPM increases quite quickly.

Beyond changing my keyboard layout nothing happened at work. After work I picked up my march metropass and now await some good BBQ pork for lunch tomorrow. I am in BCE place for the rest of next week which will be pretty nice. I can do some reading and talking on msn which will kill time pretty quickly.

Since I didn't do a post yesterday I shall add another photo to this post. The photo below I took in Kingston. I believe this building is the Kingston city hall or something. I am not too sure, its a government building of some sort that's for damn sure. This looks almost the same as a photo I took of the liberty grand. Not sure what month that photo was taken though.

Dominic staring

I can't exactly remember where I took this photo. My guess is the arcade in Kingston, but not quite sure.

Thursday was a very dull day so nothing to mention about that, but Friday was quite fun. It started off as a normal dull day of work but got better afterwards. When I got home people came over and we went to licks for Andrews birthday dinner. Not many people=e were aware that licks was a simple burger place, regardless we ate and people had fun. After dinner we went back to my place and some people were upstairs playing 360 or some system, while a bunch of people were downstairs playing Chez Geek, a card game Sean had left at my place.

Everyone totally ganged up on me in the first game. I was doing really well, then out of no where I went from having 15 points (which is a lot) to 0! Biggest punk off ever. After that I more or less gave up.

Today was a pretty fun day as well. It started off with another driving lesson. This time I felt I was doing a lot better. I wasn't struggling as much, but I am still quite bad. Hopefully tomorrow I will do a little better.

After driving shawn and Amy came by and we sat and talked for a bit then got some good dim sum. Dim sum was great, I don't go too often and really enjoy it when I do go. After a nice meal we walked around pmall for a bit and walked around. I got some hello panda's and that was pretty much all that happened. I went to cheryls after pmall and we sat around for a bit then went to shoppers.

Cheryl was having difficulties deciding what hair products to get, and I was killing time by playing megaman. For dinner we went to milestones which was actually quite nice, the food was okay, but the place itself was nice.

Hopefully tomorrow will be an interesting day.

Mahi thinking

I took this photo some time ago when I had gone to my cousin Mahi's house to play Settlers. Settlers is a great game, I still have yet to win a game though.

Today was a pretty fun day. Ryan, jimmy, philip, kings, and nelson came over and we watched a korean movie called crying fist. It was actually a lot better then I thought it would be. The movie is about these two characters and their personal lives and how they live crappy messed up lives. The movie was filmed really well. The colours really really vibrant which was a little surprising.

Now its time to sleep. On a side note, 241 views of Suicide and 157 of Steroids.

Justin is hurt

I took this photo after justin and dano had a bit of a fight. The end result was justin getting a cut on his forehead and having to wear a band aid. It was quite a funny sight.

Work today was more boring then usual. The highlight of today was leaving to get lunch. I got some really cheap bbq pork which was excellent. It was quite hard to eat because I couldn't chew it into small pieces so it was a little hard to eat at times. It was quite good though considering I got it for about $3.75. I now know where to eat while I am at BCE place.

After work I went to Hairy T's again and picked up a manga for ryan. After that I headed to silver snail and checked out what they had there. Silver snail was a pretty big disappointment. Eventually I met up with Simon and we went to Anime xtreme and I got some final fantasy keychains which were quite nice. I will probably take a few photos of them as the week progresses.

Another dull day of work tomorrow. Hopefully I won't fall asleep.

Mickey Mouse!

I got this Mickey from Cheryl for Christmas. It is by far one of the coolest plushes I have ever got. The only other plush that is better then this Mickey is my pooh bear, because he has a heart.

Friday is a big blur to me so I will simply skip it for now. I think we go dinner, but that's about it. Saturday was a pretty interesting day. It started off with a trip to pmall with Simon Chris and Cheryl. It was pretty fun, I got some hello pandas and walked around looking at anime DVD's. Cheryl picked up a t-shirt, and Simon and Chris didn't really get anything. After sitting around for a few hours we went out and got dinner, then headed to adrians house.

At adrians we just watched the skill contest and dunk contest. I was watching/playing tales of eternia during the contest. The only good contest I liked was the dunk contest. Some of the dunks were quite cool. I won't bother going into them, but my favourite dunk would probably be when Robinson jumped over spud Webb. That was quite an intense dunk.

After the dunk contest I watched some desperate housewives then sat and played some more tales.

Sunday was much more relaxed. Around 6ish ryan picked me and jimmy up after going to the gym to watch a crappy korean movie at his place. Jimmy was out like a brick in 20 minutes. Ryan and I managed to last pretty much the full movie. Needless to say the movie was terrible. After the movie we went to dinner then went to my place and watched god of cookery. God of cookery is excellent. It was still good the second time. So many classic moments. I still hate the fact that Stephen chow refuses to cast a hot looking girl as the main character in his movies. His female leads are always hideous, it boggles my mind. Sometimes they get progressively better looking as the movie moves forward, but still not that great.

Today was a dull dull day at work. I read my manga and talked on msn for most of the day. Luckily elaine was online so the last 3 or 4 hours of work seemed to go by pretty quickly.

Once work ended I met up with Cheryl and jo and walked around eaton centre with them for about 20 minutes before heading home. I stopped by cheryls place to help fix her wireless router. It was quite a strange router, didn't have the normal settings like mine. Regardless I got it working then went home. Now I must watch some anime before heading to bed.

On a side note, the suicide video is at playcount 195, and steroids is at 115

Can't look away

I took this photo during a bio class where philip had played the steroids movie. Speaking of the bio video you can now watch it on google video at this link and also the suicide video is available as well here.

Work sucked today. Windows is just mind numbingly retarded. Today a bulk of it was spent trying to fix some stupid printers. For some reason if I set a printer on the network as a printer on the network it won't work. But if I set the printer as a local printer and make set the printer port as an IP it works. Makes no god damn sense.

After work I finally printed all those black and white photos. A lot of them came out over exposed but still look quite nice. Hopefully I will be able to steal my brothers scanner and scan them all in later.

After getting the photos I headed over to my cousins place and we just played some games, talked and ate dinner. We played settlers of katan again and I was struggling throughout most of it. Even with my cousins great help I was totally ruined by the end. The game is still wicked though.

Now I must cry myself to sleep because there is still one more day till the weekend.

The Three Musketeers

This photo was taken sometime in may 2005. I haven't seen yvonne, annie or joyce since commencement I think. Hopefully they are all doing okay.

Work was dull as ever today. I read volume 2 of ragnarok and the manga isn't that bad. I will probably buy the rest of it towards the end of this month. In march I will probably get all of love hina because Hairy Tarantula's is probably having a sale.

After work I went by Imageworks and picked up the black and white negtives I left yesterday. Hopefully tomorrow I can go to shoppers or walmart and print them all off. I have no idea how they will turn out. Depending on how much it costs I may just see how many rolls of true black and white film I can get from campbell. $2 for black and white film is DAMN cheap.

When I got back I spent the rest of the day playing Tales of Eternia. So far its pretty good, the story isn't as intense as legend of heroes but the fighting is much better.

Party at Wilsons

This is quite an old photo of wilson. Two great things everyone should know about wilson. He has long fingers, and throws the greatest parties. Speaking of which, party at wilson this saturday.

Another lame day at work today. Didn't do anything too exciting. Me and my co-workers played 7-up for a while. Steph (the person who usually wins) was struggling today. Only won after we had played 6 games. The rest of the day was all dull and boring.

After work I headed over to Imageworks to develop a roll true black and white film. I can't wait to see how they turn out. After imageworks I went to hairy tarantula's and bought another issue of ragnarok the manga. I will probably buy a whole shit load of manga towards the end of march. They are having a sale so I think I will take good advantage of it.<

I hate you Microsoft

I took this photo of simon quite a long time ago. I wonder if simon still ever has time to lie down and relax in the middle of the day.

A long long day at work. I just want to say windows is by far the worst mother fucking operating system in the world. I added ram to this one computer and turned it on, it seemed to be working fine but then for some reason it couldn't find the harddrive. It took me about an hour to fix this stupid problem. So now it loaded up windows fine and I was like thank you god. 10 seconds later it turns out the eternet card somehow just LOST its driver. So for the next 2 hours I am just sitting down trying to figure out how to get this mother fucking driver to install. Only windows is capable of simply losing an installed driver. Even after two hours I was sitll unable to get this stupid driver working and now I have to setup a new computer for this dude for tomorrow. I also need to set up another loaner for someone else who was having problems around the same time. God, how can people use such a buggy operating system. I suggest to everyone who reads this blog to use a linux distribution called Ubuntu. It is by far the best linux os I have seen to date. Its as simple as windows, all you do is click a file and it opens. The only difference is it isn't complete shit like windows, and doesn't fuck up randomly. I left work at 7 because of that stupid ass computer.

When I finally got home my tales of eternia finished downloading. It looks to be an interesting game. I will now have something to do on the bus rides to and from work.

Shawn relaxing

I think this photo was taken while we were in waterloo. Shawn was just lying down on the couch in the common room. I still need to find the prints of this roll of film. This roll had a lot of great black and white photos.

This weekend was quite a packed weekend. Luckily I managed to wake up at 5:30 and made my way to work at around 6:30. I was the first person in the office that day (well my cubicle area) and I was pretty busy the whole day. After the little msn incident there always seems to be something for me to do in that building now. Even though I was busy it was damn boring. After work I got to the coach bus station and awaited for a long trip to Kingston. The bus ride was damn long and very boring. Luckily I had my PSP so I played some lumines which killed a lot of time.

When I finally made it to Kingston I took a cab to Cheryls residence and I was quite impressed with how nice a lot of the buildings looked. When I finally saw Cheryl we went to her room and I dropped my stuff off. The outside of her building was very nice, the inside wasn't as great. Her room was CRAZY small. I was shocked that Lisa and Cheryl have to live in that space. The living room for my suite in waterloo was bigger then their room. After we sat around in cheryls place for a while we went over to her boyfriends res then went and got some food at McDonald's. The walk to McDonald's was pretty far but we saw a bunch of stuff which was fun. On our way back we stopped off at an arcade and played a bunch of cool games. The arcade isn't anything special mind you but it was still pretty fun. Cheryl and Dominic were playing this basketball shooting game for a while. Cheryl was struggling quite a bit. I didn't bother trying because that way I could continue to make fun of Cheryl. As soon as we finished at the arcade we went back to dominic's place and played fluxx and 7-up for quite a long time then finally headed to bed.

Saturday we woke up a little before noon and walked around the town for a bit. We went to this Indian restaurant and I had some pretty funky tasting butter chicken. Instead of using tomatoes and what not they used coconut so it tasted a little too sweet. After lunch we walked all over town, no particular direction or anything. I didn't see any shops that were very impressive but it was a nice walk. I took a few photos while at the lake then we continued walking till around 6 which is when we got some pho. Cheryl seems to believe this pho place is the greatest pho she ever had. I couldn't really prove or disprove her because I don't eat pho, but I highly doubt the greatest pho place resides in Kingston.

After dinner we went back to dominics place and talked, played more cards, and I told many stories about all the crazy things my friends have done. It was pretty funny. Later on he showed us this video about these crazy engineers trying out to be Freks (Not sure what it means) but freks are in charge of frosh engineering events and what not. The engineers at queens are CRAZY. The video of people trying out to be freks was just hilarious, these people had no shame. If I manage to get the video from him I will see if I can host it somewhere. After watching the freks video we talked for a little while more then headed to bed.

Today we woke up pretty late then just got some brunch. Queens is pretty cool because when you go to eat its buffet style. Shawn would have been in heaven because they had bacon, and its all you can eat. I had some bacon, eggs, and pancakes. It was a pretty good meal, I should have got more bacon though.

After brunch we went back to dominics place and played more cards until a fire alarm which made us have to leave and go sit around in cheryls res common room. When we finally got back into dom's res we played cards again then I headed for the coach bus terminal and had a long bus ride home.

Kingston was quite fun but I doubt I will go again though. Next on my list is Waterloo and Western. Not sure when I will be going there though. I will have to find out when people are free and not coming down. Now I await dinner and a goods night sleep.

Kyle working hard in Data

Kyle rarely did work in data. This was one of the few times I actually saw him doing something. Most of the time he was sleeping. Data was a great class to take a nap.

Nothing really happened today. The more I work at this place the more I hate windows. So many problems easily avoidable if they just had macs. Most computers I see all have spyware which slow them down like crazy. Also windows is just retarded. I'm to angry to continue talking about windows.

After work I checked out Hairy Tarantula's and bought ryan 3 comic books. One of which is Spiderman: India. The premise behind this comic was what if spiderman was born in india. The comic was somewhat interetsing. I found that they jumped all over the place though. Also I found it quite lame when they would make all these lame indian jokes. Like when he finds out he is spiderman he is like "This is way cooler then being a popular movie star!" Stuff like that was a little dumb.

After work Ryan dano jimmy adrian and I got together and went to all star wings. It was quite good. Jimmy and ryan ordered some pretty lame wings, but I think its a good place to go to once in a while. I got some mozza sticks which are like fried motzerella cheese thingies which are wicked. Now I must get ready to go to queens tomorrow. I must wake up at 5:30 tomorrow so that I can get to work at 8. God I hope I won't be late.

BIIIILAAAAAY

Billy working hard in data. Billy is a funny guy. I miss yelling out billy fung in the hall. Those were some good times

Work was pretty good today. I am back in the Queens Quay building so there is always something for me to do. As always during one of my large gaps between waiting for something to do I was on msn and my manager stumbled in on me talking to people. He is a pretty nice guy so he didn't say anything to me, but he just told my co-worker so now I won't be on msn for a while. I admit it was stupid to be on msn but if I wasn't on msn I would have been fired for sleeping on the job. As soon as I quit msn I was just staring at outlook waiting for an email or something to do. Hopefully I won't sleep be sleeping in work tomorrow.

After work I pretty much just came home and caught up on some astro boy and watched lost. Lost was amazing as always. The best way to predict what will happen in lost is make a logical guess of what will happen based on the hints they give you, then think of something completely crazy. The completely crazy idea is usually closer to what will happen then the logical flow of the show, which is why lost is amazing.

Cheryl writing something

Update:

I have changed the comment setting so now anyone should be able to leave a comment.

I believe Cheryl is writing down the university and program she is in which is what they will announce when she picks up her degree. Amy said she thought this photo was quite nice if it was a little more in focus. I think the print was a lot better then the scan though.

Another very dull day at work. Didn't really do much. There was a minor emergency during a meeting which I took care of but other then that pretty simple stuff. The day went by pretty fast. Towards the end it quickly died down. I was talking to a few people which also killed a bit of time.

After work I walked to the coach greyhound bus terminal and picked up a ticket to Kingston. This weekend I shall be heading up to queens to visit Cheryl. Hopefully she will manage to show me a good time, it will be a long 3 hour bus ride. Hopefully I will be able to make it to queens safely.

After getting the ticket I headed over to my cousins apartment to play a game of Settlers of Katan and also eat some dinner. We got food from trimurti which is always good. Settlers was also very fun. This game I did slightly better then my last game. You get points for various things in the game, I was aiming for longest road. Ramanan (my brother), kept trying to steal it from me, so towards the end it was a simple struggle to continually build more and more roads. However in the end my cousin Jana still won so it didn't really change much of anything.

Now I hope I can wake up tomorrow and get to work

Petty vandalism

I took this photo sometime in June, or maybe may. Some kids started a fire under a tree. I only managed to get a photo of tree after they had taken out the fire. I did see the fire though, it was quite big.

Pretty average day of work today. Got around to finishing another comic at work. This time I read spiderman marvel knights. This comic wasn't nearly as good as the spiderman comic I read yesterday but still okay. I can't wait to start From hell. I expect it to be as impressive as watchmen. Hopefully it won't be too gory though.

Now I must catch up on some astro boy. The anime just gets better and better, the only problem is the subtitles for my DVD's are just pathetic. Every so often they say nusance, and I have no idea what they mean. I think it means problem but I have no idea. I know for a fact they don't mean nuisance.

Lets tie people up!

I can't remember why people were tying up Justin but I'm pretty sure they were having fun by the smile on Ryan's face.

Today was a long day. Originally I was suppose to go to Eaton centre with Joanna but I later found out I had an orthodontist appointment. I didn't really do anything till after my orthodontist appointment.

After my appointment some people came by and after much debate we finally went out for dinner. We originally decided to go pizza hut but since jimmy was treating everyone it turned out to be too expensive so we moved over to pho. After pho people came back here and we played fluxx and some other game Sean had brought. Both were very fun. We also played a bit of mario kart DS which is also very good. Certain things about the game sucked though. The drifting in it is harder and if you hit a wall you are completely screwed. Everyone left around 1:30 and now I must get some sleep.

Cheryl and Salina

I took this photo again during commencement. Hopefully I will try to keep this photos as recent as possible. I think this is one of the few photos I have of salina. Kevin seems to think she has a pornstar voice. I am not too familiar with what a porn star voice sounds like, but I would have to say her voice is somewhat raspy, which is cool. I missed the day however when nelson told salina what kevin thought of her voice while kevin was in the room. Nelson is a rat, a cold hearted rat!

Today was a pretty normal day. I went in late again, its been 3 days in a row which is not good. They haven't mentioned anything so I won't worry so much. Nothing really happened today, I spent most of the day reading buddha vol 6 which was awesome. Buddha is a manga by Osamu Tezuka, he is the guy who made Astro boy. If you don't know what astro boy is I am simply shocked! Anyways this comic simply talks about buddha and his life. Tezuka follows the stories about buddha quite well but also incorporates various characters and humour wherever he can. The manga is a very well written and well drawn.

Lunch was awesome. Since I had my metropass I decided to bus down to dundas and get some popeyes. I can't wait to start going to all sorts of crazy cheap restaurants and events. This shall be a very exciting month.

After work I met up with Ryan, dano, jimmy, redford, philip, and adrian. They were at an arcade infront of eaton centre playing random games. When I got there I took adrian and ryan to a comic book store and we were looking at random comics for a good hour. I was looking at some other comics by Alan moore but couldn't find what I wanted. I was hoping to get From hell, but they only had a single issue of it. It was pretty cheap so I got it anyways. I also bought the card game flux so I will most likely be playing that a fair bit now. Ryan got 2 spiderman comics and an xmen comic, and adrian got some venom vs carnage comic.

After getting the comics we more or less headed home and got food at pizza hut. Dinner wasn't anything too special. After dinner though we came back to my place and played some fluxx. I think the guys who played seem to like it. Now I must return downstairs. I will try to update after everyone leaves.

Kings Justin Nelly

Once again another photo from commencement. I'm pretty sure nelly just snuck into the photo because he likes to ruin perfectly good photos.

Today was a great day. I finished Spiderman volume 4 and was shocked at how intense it was. Spiderman is a wicked series, its crazy to see the stories these people come up with. I can't wait for ryan to get the next volume so I can borrow it and read it.

After work (I was reading spiderman during work today) I headed out to eaton centre and walked around yonge street looking for a game store. The store is really small and I ended up missing it which sucked. After failing at finding the store I bought a biscuit then headed to my cousins place to play some board games and eat dinner.

At my cousins we played fluxx, which I probably mentioned a few days earlier, and a new game called Settlers of Katan. Settlers is an excellent game. The game was a little hard at first, but I slowly caught on. The game was really fun because it involves lots of trading and stuff, so if you don't trade you screw yourself over. The game is very fun, I can't wait to try playing it again. In the end my cousin won and then we played a few more games of fluxx then headed home.

Now a real challenge will be to get a post up before midnight tomorrow. Hopefully I will be able to continue this trend of a post everyday.

The greatest smile

Su is one of the few people I see always smiling. The only other person that comes to mind who is smiling all the time is Redford. But even Redford has his bouts of being very bitter. I don't usually talk to su to much so whenever I do see her she is smiling and probably grabbing jo's ass.

Work as always was pretty boring. It turns out I forgot to lock the storage room yesterday. This was a pretty big deal because all of our computer equipment is in there. That room has boxes upon boxes of brand new unopened computers. Luckily nothing was missing and they didn't really make a big fuss about it, just told me to be careful, I was damn scared. After that I didn't really do much for a few hours so I decided to read the watchmen.

This comic is crazy. Its pretty straightforward but there are lots of things I don't really understand. I doubt I will be able to sit down and read this comic again anytime soon but hopefully by the time I finish it I will have some sort of a grasp as to wtf was going on. The comic is still quite intense and I can't wait to finish it.

After work I headed up to Eaton centre. I finally got a metropass so hopefully I will be doing a lot of exploring this month. I may even be able to get lunch with people at uft or ryerson, assuming they aren't to busy. When I got to eaton centre I walked in a few circles looking at stores and DVD's, nothing that impressive. I was mainly waiting till around 7:00 so I could head over to UFT and check out a public lecture from the person who made daily dose of imagery.

The lecture was awesome. It was very simple, it was just him talking about his photos, how he got into photography, really nothing that impressive. However just looking at some of these photos (most of which I had already seen) makes me want to take some crazy photos. Its a pain in the ass to do with a film camera because whenever I take a photo it costs me a bit of money, but I refuse to go back to my digital camera. After that lecture I will continue this trend of updating my site frequently. If you don't see a long post you will still at least see a photo. Now I must prepare for tomorrow.
